Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. Stacking the Shelves is about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves. You can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books your borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and eBooks.

I haven’t done a Stacking the Shelves post in over a year, so I’m going to slowly start showing you books I’ve bought over the months. I’ll probably just do mostly 2017 books, because yeah…it’ll get too crazy otherwise. With that said, I bought some books from Amazon, BookOutlet, and Half Price Books. I’ve borrowed books from the library (I’ll only show recent ones). I’ve gotten some new approvals from Netgalley, and I’ve won a couple books here and there.

With that said, here are the books I’ve bought, borrowed, and received:

I bought a few pre-orders (not pictured Always and Forever, Lara Jean) and quite a few cheap Kindle ebooks, many of which I listed on my Deals & Steals post earlier this week. I also won FOUR Twitter giveaways! Yes!

I splurged on some cheap BookOutlet books (50% off 50 YA titles = less than $36 for 13 books), and bought some Kindle deals. I received a few Netgalley approvals. And I also won a Twitter giveaway.

I bought some cheap hardcovers (plus one paperback) from Amazon, along with a couple pre-orders and some Kindle deals. I received a couple Netgalley approvals, and one Edelweiss approval (see my blog on the 17th for the review). I went the other day to pick up some holds from the library, which were mostly LGBTQIA+ books that I didn’t get around to during Pride Month. Finally, I won a pre-order giveaway, and chose United as my pick. I can’t wait to read the Alienated trilogy!

I got two deals on hardcovers from Amazon (there’s a few others: The Winner’s Curse, The Rose & The Dagger, and The Crown’s Game that I already owned that are about $7-8 right now). And once again, I bought a lot of ebooks. I received a Netgalley approval. I went the other day to pick up some held books from the library. I swear my hold always come in around the same time, so I always end up getting a decent size pile of books. Finally, I won an ARC via a Twitter giveaway.

I forgot to post last week, so here’s my two week Stacking the Shelves post. I bought a lot of cheaper ebooks, and pre-ordered some books from Amazon. I also bought some books from BookOutlet. Finally, I supported #buydiversebooks, where you could win gifts for purchasing diverse books. I ended up buying 8 diverse books total during the two day event. I received several Netgalley approvals. I borrowed some audiobooks and picked up some held books from the library. I also won an ebook and hardcover book via Twitter giveaways.

Okay, so I’m doing pretty good on my book buying ban overall. I did end up buying two Kindle ebooks because they were on sale, but that’s a lot less than I usually buy (see previous Stacking the Shelves posts). I borrowed two audiobooks from the library, got approved for two Netgalley eARCs, and finally won two books via blog giveaways. Did you notice all the twos? Weird, but awesome, coincidence.

I’ve put myself on a book buying ban for the forseeable future, because I’ve been spending way too much lately. Oops? But sorry, not sorry. I’ve had a hard time not buying/pre-ordering books I really want the last week or so. Ugh. Anyways, I picked up some holds along with an audiobook CD set from the library, got approved for some Netgalley eARCs, and also won a book from a Goodreads giveaway.

I bought a couple Kindle ebooks, picked up some holds from the library, and got approved for quite a few AMAZING Netgalley eARCs. I also won a trilogy of books from the YASH from one of the author’s websites. Overall, it was a pretty good week!

I bought some books from Amazon and BookOutlet, picked up a few holds from the library, and got approved for some Netgalley eARCs. And finally, I won a mega giveaway on Twitter from Renee Ahdieh, Marie Rutkoski, and Mary Pearson. I screamed and freaked out when I saw that. So amazing!
