I was not tagged for this, but I wanted to do it anyways. I have no idea who started this tag, so I can’t give credit where it’s due. So without further ado, here we go:
Q1: How do you keep track of your To Be Read pile?
Goodreads. I honestly don’t know what I did before I found that amazing website.
Q2: Is your To Be Read mostly print or E-books?
There’s a lot of books I don’t even own, but of the TBR books I own, mostly print. I gravitate towards printed books because I get migraines, and the less screen time a day, the better.
Q3: How do you determine which book from your To Be Read to read next?
Whatever I’m in the mood for, or whatever I’m going to buddy read with someone.
Q4: A book that has been on your To Be Read the longest?
On my Goodreads TBR shelf, it’s Family Pictures by Jane Green. I added it on January 4, 2013.
Q5: A book that you recently added to your To Be Read?
One book that I recently added that I’m super excited about is Fraternize by Rachel Van Dyken. I got an eARC from Netgalley, so I’m hoping to read this one soon.
Q6: A book on your To Be Read strictly because it has a beautiful cover?
I never add books just because it’s got a pretty cover. It’s got to have an interesting sounding summary too. But one book that has a beautiful cover that drew my attention is Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia. This one I was debating on adding for a while, but the cover—and other people’s reviews—finally made me add it.
Q7: A book on your To Be Read that you never plan on actually reading?
I got rid of most of these when I deleted books from my TBR, but I guess maybe The Privilege of Youth: A Teenager’s Story by Dave Pelzer. I read his other books before this one was published. I’m just not in the mood for depressing stories when the world is a garbage fire. I need happy things right now.
Q8: An unpublished book on your To Be Read that you’re excited for?
There’s a long list, but I’ll go with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. What I’ve read by her, I’ve really enjoyed.
Q9: A book on your To Be Read that everyone else has read but you?
Um maybe Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead?
Q10: A book on your To Be Read that everyone recommends to you?
Off the top of my head, An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir. I’m newer to fantasy (besides Harry Potter), and that one has been recommended many times.
Q11: A book on your To Be Read that you are DYING to read?
Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey. My friend Jessica just finished it, and LOVED it. Therefore I want to read it ASAP.
Q12: The number of books on your To Be Read?
2,416. Don’t judge. Last year I had 7,000+ books on my TBR before I went through and got rid of a lot of them.
