I was tagged by Danielle from The Introverted Book Nerd. Thanks for the tag! Not sure who started the tag, so can’t give credit where it’s due. Let’s get started.
How many books do you usually read at once?
At least 2-3. A physical book at home, an audiobook at work, and sometimes another physical book/an ebook.
If you’re reading more than one book at a time, how do you decide when to switch books?
It’s usually either whenever I get kind of bored with one, or it’s the fact that I’m at work and therefore can’t read a physical copy, needing an audiobook on top of my other book(s).
Do you ever switch bookmarks while you’re partway through a book?
No. Half the time I don’t even use a bookmark, and just use a scrap of paper.
Where do you keep the book(s) you’re currently reading?
Either on my nightstand, in my phone, or on the computer (for Overdrive audiobooks).
What time of day do you spend the most time reading?
Depends. I’ll listen to audiobooks at work most days, so that’s happening from morning until early evening. Then I’ll read a physical book/ebook at home in the evening.
How long do you typically read in one sitting?
Once again, it depends. I can listen to an audiobook at work sometimes for the whole day (8 or so hours), and then even read some at home afterwards. Other days I’ll just read at home for 1-4 hours. I can sit and read for most of a day as evidenced by my participation in 24 hour readathons.
Do you read hardbacks with the dust jacket on or off?
I didn’t use to take the dust jacket off, but I have been lately.
What position do you mainly use to read?
Either sitting in my chair at work, or if I’m home, I’m usually laying down.
Do you take the book you’re currently reading with you everywhere you go?
I don’t really go places hahaha. I’m usually at work, or home. But if I go somewhere else, I’ll usually bring at least one book along.
How often do you update your Goodreads progress on the book you’re currently reading?
Pretty often, especially if there are lines I really like/want to keep track of.
