I’ve been giving a lot of books recommendations lately, so I decided to start a new weekly feature. Loved That, Read This is all about recommending books! There’s no set amount on how many books you have to recommend per week, or restrictions on what genres/age categories you can feature. Just have fun with this! If you want to participate, please link back to me in your post, and then link up below via the linky! Okay, with that said, here we go:
Both of these books feature feisty females who are trying to focus on their goals without letting these cute soccer guys distract them. All the characters are well fleshed out, and I’d highly recommend these two. Plus they’re only $2.99 for Kindle copies.
These two books have teen girls with family issues who are trying to take control of their lives in very similar ways. Suffer Love is a little less sexualized, and a little more romantic. But they’re both fantastic reads.
These girls are escaping their current life situations by leaving town, and both books are told in ‘Then’ and ‘Now’ timelines. One thing to note is that Paint My Body Red focuses on heavier topics, like suicide and mental illness.
There’s a major connection between these two, but I’m not going to spoil anything. Let’s just say the main characters are going through emotional issues, and that they find new guys to focus on in the time being.
Have you read any of these books? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them! Don’t forget to link up below with the URL to your blog post (not your blog), and your name. Then if you have some time, check out some of the other links!
