Loved That, Read This

I’ve been giving a lot of books recommendations lately, so I decided to start a new weekly feature. Loved That, Read This is all about recommending books! There’s no set amount on how many books you have to recommend per week, or restrictions on what genres/age categories you can feature. Just have fun with this! If you want to participate, please link back to me in your post, and then link up below via the linky! Okay, with that said, here we go:

If you loved Everything, Everything, then read Underwater.

In both of these books, the main characters are trapped inside their houses, but for very different reasons. Both books have a twist you might, or might not, see coming, depending on how good you are at guessing/reading into foreshadowing. Underwater is slightly darker in subject matter.

If you loved Lock and Key, then read My Life Next Door.

Boy next door romances, plus secrets abound, are featured in both of these books. My Life Next Door is a little lighter in subject matter compared to Lock and Key. It’s also quite a bit funnier. George, Jase’s kid brother, is pretty hilarious.

If you loved The Boy Most Likely To, then read What You Left Behind.

Both books feature male MCs (The Boy Most Likely To has dual POVs with a female too). These teen boys are going through some tough times, all in the midst of falling in love. They also have something major in common, but I don’t want to spoil the surprise. You’ll have to read to see!

If you loved Eleanor & Park, then read Just Visiting.

For these two books, there’s one “poor” white character, and one “richer” diverse character. Both books feature dual POVs, a love of music, and are sad in their own ways. A major difference is Eleanor & Park is set in the past (80’s), but Just Visiting is set in the present day.

Have you read any of these books? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them! Don’t forget to link up below with the URL to your blog post (not your blog), and your name. Then if you have some time, check out some of the other links!
