May 2016 TBR

This is my fourth month trying out a monthly TBR. Last month I read 13 of the books I listed for my April TBR, and 6 additional ones I didn’t list (Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, Nowhere But Here, Tell Me Three Things, Walk the Edge, Last Year’s Mistake, and The Sky is Everywhere, ). I like having a big TBR pile to choose from, so I’m going to keep doing this for a while. Here’s my tentative May TBR. I won’t get to all these books this month. As a side note, I plan on doing three monthly readathons this month. I’m participating in Read Your Book Shelf A Thon (May 1-8 #RYBSAT), Book Buddy A Thon (May 7-13 #bookbuddyathon), and Bout of Books 16 (May 9-15 #boutofbooks). May is #monthofmatson, so I plan on reading my two remaining Matson books (Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour and The Unexpected Everything), in addition to Morgan’s Katie Finn books.

    1. I’ve only read the Thunder Road books by her so far (AND LOVED THEM), so I’m excited to read the Pushing the Limits books finally!

  1. I can’t wait for us to read Pushing the limits!! It looks so good! From your list I want to read: star touched queen, amy & roger’s epic detour, i’ll meet you there, the distance between us, the crown, acomaf, tratd, how to love, wrong side of right, boy most likely to, and unexpected everything. We have so many books to read lol!! Good luck on your readathons and your TBR. <3

    1. I can’t wait to read it either! Bahaha is that all you want to read from my list? Yes we have so many amazing books to read! Thanks, good luck to you as well! 🙂 <3

  2. I’m curious to see what you’ll think of Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend. To put it lightly, I hated that book, lol. It was too juvenile for me. The Love That Split the World! I’ve been seeing more negative reviews for it lately, but I really enjoyed it (minus the ending). ACOMAF! YES! I’m excited for that one. I definitely recommend bumping up ACOTAR on your list. 😉 I wish you luck on reading all your books!

    1. Okay, now I’m super uneasy about reading it lol. I love her Morgan Matson books, so I was hoping I’d love this series as well. I decided to move ACOTAR up my reading priority list, and I’m currently reading it now! Thanks! 🙂

  3. AHHH. So many fabulous books! I really enjoyed The Wrong Side of Right, Six of Crows and All the Bright Places, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. And I have heard nothing but praise for The Star-Touched Queen, And I Darken and Outrun the Moon so hopefully they turn out to be as amazing as they sound. Thanks for sharing and, as always, fabulous post! ♥
