3rd Annual ARC August: Week One Update Post

So the first week of August is done, which means there’s only approximately three weeks left for the 3rd Annual ARC August extravaganza hosted over at Read.Sleep.Repeat. My original goal was only 4 books, but I kept getting approved for more books each week, so I had to add more to my TBR pile for my ARC August goals post last week. I read two books already and DNF a third book. The reviews are all posted on my blog. So with that said, here are the books I’ve read and the books I still want to read.

 READ AND REVIEWED:

Daughter of Dusk by Livia Blackburne

Daughter of Dusk

The Last of the Firedrakes by Farah Oomerbhoy

Awake by Natasha Preston

NEED TO READ:

You might have noticed I took two ARCs off that were on my sign up post. Their publication dates have passed, but I still really wanted to read them. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s going to be time. I just found out a little while ago about this contest on Twitter called Pitch Wars, and I decided to enter. There’s 100 mentors and you get to pick five from the group to send your query letter and the first chapter of your completed manuscript to. So I have a lot of work to do before the submittal date, including narrowing my list down to five mentors and writing a query letter. And I want to read Cinder for The Lunar Chronicles (Re)Read Along. This is definitely going to be a super busy month.

Are you participating in ARC August? What are some of the ARCs you’re most looking forward to reading?
