Stacking the Shelves [2]

      Stacking the Shelves

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. Stacking the Shelves is about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves. You can include books you buy in a physical store or online, books your borrow from the library or friends, review books, gifts and eBooks.

This is only my second week doing this, and I changed the format around a bit. I got quite a few books from the library & Netgalley, so it was easier to just show off all the beautiful covers!

With that said, here are the books I’ve bought, borrowed, and received this past week:

Bought:

Anne of Green Gables Gene. Sys. Peaches Since You've Been Gone With Every Breath Before & After

Borrowed:

Something Strange & Deadly A Darkness Strange & Lovely Strange & Ever AfterThe Fire Wish The Art of Wishing Becoming JinnSave the Date The Queen of the Tearling The Invasion of the Tearling

Won:

I Wish by Elizabeth Langston (signed copy – Twitter giveaway hosted by @darkangel231988)

I will try adding some of these new Netgalley ARCs to my ARC August challenge; you can find my sign up post here. I am so excited to read Susan Dennard’s Something Strange and Deadly trilogy, even though I’ve never read anything with zombies in it before. What are you Stacking the Shelves with this week? Any books you can’t wait to read?

    1. I kept requesting, so the books I have to read keep piling up. I hope I can get through all of them. I need to stop requesting for this whole month at least. Time to kick some serious ARC butt! Oh and read Cinder too haha.

    1. Thanks! Oh yay, that’s good. I haven’t seen that much about it but what I have seen was good. Plus it was $1.99 ebook, so you can’t go wrong 🙂

    1. Thanks Barb! I know what you mean. I have quite a few of these I need to read, and I usually don’t read so many books in a month with work, etc. Here’s hoping we can finish them all! I hope so too 🙂

  1. It makes me so happy seeing the Something Strange and Deadly series on your list! I hope after you read them, that you will want to buy them! Susan is an amazing writer. I can’t wait to hear what you think! I hope you enjoy all of the other books too!

    Here is my StS

    1. I’ve been wanting to read them after all the hype over Truthwitch. I mean I have to read something of hers before January 🙂 I think I’ll read the first book to see how it goes and then probably buy the trilogy if I like the first one. I have such a bad habit of not having time for library books and end up returning them unread 🙁 Thank you! I’ll let you know what I think once I have a little free time for the first book 🙂 I’ll go check out your StS in a little bit!
